The best thing about being a funeral celebrant is that I have the freedom to write and create a ceremony that befits your loved one.  Saying goodbye to someone that you love deeply, is a very personal and meaningful event and it is important that you are able to commemorate  your loved one's life in a way that feels right and honours the beautiful life they led.

I will listen carefully whilst you share your feelings and memories about your loved one,  in order to gain a deep understanding and awareness of the type of person they were. I will use this knowledge to carefully craft a service that does their life justice; be this religious, non-religious or somewhere in between.

If you choose me to lead and officiate your funeral service, I will:

• Be a point of support and guidance from our very first meeting right through until the end of the service.
• Spend time understanding your wishes and ensure that these are carried out sufficiently.
• Ensure that you fully understand how the service will run so that you never feel out of control.
• Prepare the eulogy with guidance from your family so that it is a true reflection of your loved one or support your family if you chose to write and deliver this yourselves.
• Take charge of the timing of the service so that no moments are ever rushed
• Craft a ceremony that is personal and helps you all to find peace and closure for the person you have lost.
